30 000 attendees. 10 000 volunteer staff. One field. This was the 2011 World Scout Jamboree.
This staff needs to eat. Three times per day, for about 2 weeks. That is a lot of meals to prepare, and that is what we did. At the time, we were the biggest restaurant in the world.
I was lead designer for the dishwashing room for this staff kitchen, and co-lead the work in it during the camp itself.
